They also let you choose to cruise with front-wheel drive (FWD) or a traction-maximizing all- or 4-wheel drive system. The Mazda CX-9 comes with the available i-ACTIV AWD® system, while the Ford Explorer has a smart 4-Wheel Drive (4WD) system. Both actively monitor your roadway conditions and automatically redistribute torque as necessary to help keep a strong grip on the road.
